Elements of the Eucharist
Central to worship for Anglicans is the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, also called the Holy Communion, the Lord's Supper or the Mass. In this offering of prayer and praise, the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are recalled through the proclamation of the word and the celebration of the sacrament.

Symbols of the Mass
Anglican worship spaces includ esymbols of our two sacraments—an altar or table for the Eucharist and a font for Baptism. Anglican churches also have a cross, the symbol of Christ's death and resurrection, and candles that remind us of the light of Christ and the fire of the Holy Ghost.
