St. George’s Anglican Church in Las Vegas NV began as a mission church, meaning it was not locally self-supporting; rather, it was dependent at least partially upon the support of mission funds from the larger religious organization that established it...
...By the grace of God, with the faith of our founding families, and under the stewardship of Fr. Gordon William Hines, we have created a welcoming sanctuary for all people and have grown into a vibrant faith family that serves our members and the greater Las Vegas community.

Our Faith Mission
Our Faith Mission is to remain true to our historical roots dating back to the 1st Century by nourishing souls through the Seven Sacraments, reading the Bible, daily morning and evening prayer and consistently engaging in spiritual disciplines. These wise practices firmly establish and maintain our close relationship with God, teach us to follow Jesus more nearly, fill us with the gift of the Holy Spirit thereby fulfilling humankind’s deepest longing.

To know God is to know ourselves. Our vision of the role of the Church is to give humankind a conscience. Morality is the discipline of love. The Gospel the Church preaches is that God is love. He gives us eternal life...
To know God is to know ourselves. To trust God is to find freedom from all the anxieties of this world and look forward to the eternal life to come.
Church Tithing / Online Donations
The Bible teaches that God is offered the first of the firstfruits; the firstborn sons, etc. The key to a life of fruitfulness in God’s kingdom is to always put God first.
This is why we tithe; to demonstrate our faith and trust in God.
